The on-line coffee map of the Dominican Republic lets you locate those high quality beans you are looking for. Do you need to find where SHD beans or the Bourbon coffee variety is grown, which mills offer organic coffee, or the farms that export coffee directly: the information you are looking for is here.
The map is a gateway to the world of Dominican coffees, and includes the precise geographic locations and the history of its numerous coffee regions, farms and industrial mills: a world of coffee information only a click away
This on-line map has been developed by the Dominican Republic Coffee Institute (CODOCAFE), the Dominican Republic Agricultural Research Agency (IDIAF) and the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) National Center for EROS, with funding provided by USAID.
The map runs on top of a powerful on-line geographic information system, offering you the ability to:
- display only those maps you need to see,
- zoom in on areas of interest,
- consult rich coffee databases, and,
- search for coffee using broad criteria.
We offer two types of on-line map services with powerful search engines: one for the international trader and one for the national public. Both services offer similar functionality, only the service for the national public offers more spatial datasets and in-depth information.
