IABIN
The IABIN-DGF project has been facilitated by the Mesoamerican and Caribbean Geospatial Alliance (MACGA) funded by USAID in 2003 and 2004. MACGA has been instrumental in providing the software, imagery, training, and know-how needed to implement spatial data dissemination mechanisms in the MAC region; it has facilitated the formation of alliances and has set the stage for successful implementation of the IABIN-DGF, a truly multi-institutional activity. The diversity of partners is a result of shared common interests and needs and is the fruition of the Global Development Alliance efforts of the USAID.
